Five Experiences I Would Like to Have

I’ve been doing some thinking the last few days and it has taken me to some interesting places (in my opinion at least). Today, I sat down and wrote out a short list in an attempt to organize my aforementioned thoughts.

Five Experiences I Would Like to Have

1. I would like to hear an American’s accent from a foreigner’s perspective.

I’m fairly positive this was brought on by the amount of Rammstein I’ve been listening to lately, but it made me pause nonetheless. Think about it for a second. We (Americans) are always commenting on how we like someone’s accent or how it sounds cool, hot, etc. I want to know how we sound to people from other parts of the world.

2. I would like to see how my muscles and tendons work beneath the skin.

I’m not talking about an x-ray on this one either. I would like to see a human arm/leg work without any skin on it, up close and personal. Granted, the only way to do this would most likely be to skin someone and force them to bend there arm around, so it probably won’t happen anytime soon. Maybe that’s strange, but I think it’s fascinating.

3. I would like to experience flight in the same manner as birds.

I’m sure a lot of you have been on a plane, helicopter, etc., and, admittedly, it’s pretty cool. I personally enjoy flying, especially if I’m seated next to a window, but it just isn’t as interactive as I would like. Birds, however, have complete freedom of motion in the air; unrestricted by some lame safety belt that really won’t do anything at all for you in the event of a crash.

4. I would like to be able to filter specific colors out of my vision.

You know all those filters people like to put on pictures in photoshop? I get the feeling that would be much more entertaining if we could just do that with our normal vision. You don’t like how something is colored? Just tweak your vision and everything is good as new.

5. I would like to experience being in an area with no gravity.

Honestly, I don’t think this one needs any explanation. Who doesn’t want to float around for a while?

Thanks for reading.
